Kazumi Kurigami
An interior architect renowned for innovative designs in retail, Masamichi Katayama is the founder of Wonderwall Inc., updating spaces with respect to traditional philosophies. He is professor at Musashino Art University, Department of Scenography, Space and Fashion Design and the recipient of Frame Awards 2020 Lifetime Achievement, following Philippe Starck and Sevil Peach. His major projects include UNIQLO flagship stores in New York, Paris, Ginza; Japan House London, led by the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs; the incubation centre “Arch”; and the retail environment at the Toranomon Hills Business Tower.
