Aristide Antonas

Participant - "Visionaries"

(GR)

Zoe Hadjiyannaki
At the interface between philosophy, art, literature and architecture, Aristide Antonas approaches architectural practices through writing, publishing novels, short stories, theatre scripts, and essays. Combined with the artist’s own styled sketches and references to legislation and archaeology, his texts turn to the topics such as “protocols as architecture”, “infrastructure of the domestic sphere”, and “stability from the exaggeration of data flow”. His works have featured around the world, including at the 2021 Venice Architecture Biennale, Documenta 14 Kassel, and Istanbul Design biennial. He has also held solo institutional exhibitions.
