Launch of the Spanish edition of the book Derechos no humanos y otros ensayos acerca de la arquitectura del bosque, published by Bartlebooth. This compilation of essays by the Brazilian architect and researcher Paulo Tavares ranges from the expropriations of indigenous communities in the Amazonian forests to the oil spills in the Gulf of Mexico. Using the tools of architecture and spatial research, these pages build alternative conceptual fields and practices to protect ecosystems and other entities (human and non-human) from the mass acceleration and extraction of resources.
The author Paulo Tavares and the editors Antonio Giráldez López and Pablo Ibáñez Ferrera (Bartlebooth) will present the book.
