This intervention exposes an innovative vision in the field of architecture and urbanism as proposed by the Triennale’s visionary line. It tells the story of the ideas that led to the formulation of the exhibited urban project Cities (Un)made by Segregated Transport Infrastructures. This way, a new model of adaptation and integration of this type of infrastructure in Chilean intermediate cities is presented, designed specifically for the Ribera Norte train in the city of Concepción: a building-viaduct. All this is intended to highlight the action-research process that made it possible to present a counter-proposal to the regional government of Bío Bío facing the Ribera Norte Urban Recovery Plan (PRURN) and which, therefore, could come to fruition in the upcoming decades.
